Rex grew up helping suppliment the family food supply with fresh fish and wild game that was amply supplied from the Ozark's rivers and hills. Spending so much time in our beautiful outdoors, indelibly stamped a lifelong love for the hills and lakes.After graduating from college, Rex became a basketball coach in his native town of Forsyth. His intensity led him to several area high school coaching positions continually guiding each program to record setting seasons. During the off seasons Rex operated an old fashioned float service on Lake Taneycomo thrilling the patrons with his unique knowledge of our area. At the same time, he received a masters in education from the University of Missouri.A successful high school coaching ca-reer netted the head basketball coach position at Southwest Baptist University where he led the bearcats to their first appearance in a national tournament. While at the university, Rex continually felt the pull to return to his beautiful Ozarks. When a resort on Lake Taneycomo became available to purchase, the family came back to the lakes he so loved. As a resort owner he entertained thousands of visitors with his native knowledge of our area.He soon became a recognized authority on fishing the Ozarks's three lakes contributing articles in major outdoor publications.Climbing into the boat with Rex became a sought after event that would leave the visitor spellbound with matchless stories that only a native Ozarkian could share. Imparting his love for our lakes area into visitors, captured many hearts and in-spired them to later return to permanently live in the Ozarks. This would lead Rex to become a licensed real estate agent helping hundreds to find their dream in his spectacular Ozarks.As a native that has owned and operated 3 resorts, Rex has an intimate perspective on business ownership in our rapidly growing area. He recently closed his 85th commercial property placing him as one of the premier authorities in commercial real estate sales.With our new location in historic downtown Branson, visitors can step in for a colorful history lesson filled with personal stories of growing up in our delightful Ozarks.If you're a fisherman, Rex is always ready to give you a tip on getting the big one.Rex was delighted when his grand daughter Jordan, a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri Business School, recently joined the firm as a 3rd generation real estate broker.

His grandson Jere-miah is attending Missouri State Uni-versity in Springfield and is also working on his real estate license. As natives, the Gradys are there to provide you with a rare perspective on our charming Ozarks.
