 Being ths son of an outdoorsman and basketball coach provides a unique learning experience for a young boy.
From hanging out in the gym, to fishing with dad, Shane either could be found with a basketball or fishing rod in his hands most of the time.
Growing up in our beautiful Branson lakes area gave Shane the same understanding for his Ozark's heritage that generations of Grady's have come to love and appreciate.
At the age of 12, Shane became the Branson lakes area's youngest fishing guide providing visitors to the family's Lake Taneycomo resort expert advice on catching Rainbow trout from the pristine waters.
At the age of 14, Shane purchased the 1st fiberglass bass boat in the Branson lakes area giving his clients a new level of fishing luxury.
Working with a steady stream of guests at the Taneycomo family resort gave Shane an opportunity to meet folks from all over the U.S.
This instilled a love for people that he has continued to enjoy throughout his working career.
He obtained a B.S. in marketing at Missouri State University working on weekends and summers as a fishing guide on Table Rock, Bull Shoals and Taneycomo Lakes and as a professional photographer shooting for major outdoor publications.
After graduation his love and experience with the outdoors led Shane to become one of the youngest outdoor recreational equipment factory representatives. He traveled a 7 state territory establishing new dealerships for RV's and boats.
Shane has 36 years of marketing experience including starting a manufacturi ng firm that marketed globally.
In that position, he traveled all over the world giving him valuable insight into global marketing to other cultures.
In 2001 Shane joined his dad Rex in the family real estate business in Branson Missouri and developed the marketing program for Branson Lakes Country Realty.
Shane's wife Karen, also a licensed agent, joined the firm the following year and In 2008 their daughter Jordan became the 3rd generation realtor after graduating from the University of Missouri. Their son Jeremiah is currently attending the University of Arkansas and is also studying for his real esate license.
Shane and Karen established Harvest House International Ministries on the island of Mindanao Philippines. This ministry has 7 churches, an orphanage, bible schoool, and over 850 cell groups ministering to over 10,000 Filipinos per week. Shane takes groups into the Philippines 3 times per year.
